HERES AN IDEA!
Put your hands in the water to rinse any oils or anything from your hands. Take your bait, whether live or artificial, and rub it between your hands and then touch your fishing line before casting. After you have done that, put your hands back into the water which that makes a starting point for attracting fish and creates a larger area of attractant in the water.
